The Rooster and the Pig is a stylish restaurant in Palm Springs offering a fusion of American/Vietnamese cuisine. We were served a starter of what looked like Rice porridge with fried onions and herbs. I was looking for an Appetizer that wasn’t too greasy and opted for the fresh Pork and Lemongrass date rolls. These were a pleasant surprise with minced pork, lemongrass, rice noodles, dates, cilantro, shallots, mizuna and mint.
Verdict: Yummm.
