Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland Labrador

Dates:  5 – 6 August, 2023

This was a very nicely maintained park with green sites and flowers.  We had full hook up with 30 amps. At the bottom of the campground you can walk down a trail to get to a playground and also seats across from a wide lake.  It was difficult to get into our first site and they moved us to a site on the second level near the Comfort station which was actually a paved wheelchair accessible site which was easier to get into.  There might have been larger sites but it was a long weekend so the campground was quite full.

Grand Falls-Windsor is one of the largest towns we have been too since coming to Newfoundland and has a lot of stores and restaurants close by. There are also a number of trails.  Its certainly worth it visiting the Corduroy Natural Centre and doing the wetland network of trails.  There are several other trails in the area.

I would have loved to have stayed here longer.
