Antigonish to Halifax, Nova Scotia – 24 September 2023

It was a bit of a long drive back to the Halifax KOA from Antigonish and sad as we were going to say goodbye to Frans. She had been with us for a few week’s now and we were getting used to having her around.

Back at the KOA we unpacked and then took Frans to Venetia’s house where she would stay for a couple of nights before returned to South Africa. At the same time we collected all the stuff we had stored at Venetia while Lucy and Frans were with us, to lessen the weight on the RV. After a couple of drinks and a tearful goodbye we left and drove back to the RV.

The following day we emptied out all the RV cupboards and the basement and threw out a bunch of stuff in an effort to reduce the weight on the RV.  Still got to do our clothes at some point but at least we made a bit of a dent.  I also caught up a bit with work which had been piling up over the last while. Once that is done I am hoping to get back to regular piano playing again as I am also behind on that.
