Checotah, Oklahoma

Dates: 10 – 11 March 2024

A lovely State Park very similar in vegetation to the Tombigbee with its forested areas.   Again a very well maintained park with large site and full utilities.  There were numerous campsites within the Park.  We were off to the site next to another RV but further along the road we saw a larger camping area with several RVs.  This is where the lake Eufaula was.

There were several hikes in the surrounding area and all in all a very nice place to camp for a few days.

Would definitely camp here again.
