Kitwanga River RV Campground

Kitwanga, British Columbia
Date: 19-21 June 2024

Situated in an Indian Reserve.  Well maintained with lovely mountain views. Trails from the park into the forest.Little tight to get into the site but not bad. Pull through with 30 amp power, water and sewer. Grassed area and a nice picnic table and BBQ.

The only thing that spoiled this campground was that the owner had 2 loose dogs. The dogs were friendly enough but of course Jax was not and it was hard to keep them away from him. I felt this was unfair as they had signs up everywhere about leashing your dog.

Not much in this area at all.  Visited some historic totem poles, an old bell tower and a historic battlefield site.  Apart from that hikes were a distance away and all were classified as challenging.

Found one general store but not much else in the village.

We stayed for 3 nights which was a bit long.  We would stay here again but probably just overnight.
