Osoyoos, BC

Large campground on the banks of the Osoyoos Lake surrounded by mountains and vineyards. This campground is part of a hotel called Spirit Ridge which also has a Winery, vineyards and restaurants.

There is a very active community here in the winters. They have an indoor pool, hot tub and activity rooms. Also a small gym. In the summer there is also a mexican restaurant, store and boat rentals. There is a gas station at the entrance of the park and also a fruit and vegetable shop.

There are several trails from the campground going into the mountains and also an easy walk to town. Several people were on bicycles or walking. There is also a horse farm next door that does trail rides.

Our back in site was large and utilities were great. We could easily access the lake and there was also a field behind us which was useful for Jax. They do offer a dog beach as well.

Osoyoos is a gorgeous place to say and we wished we could have spent longer here. Downtown Osoyoos has plenty of shops and restaurants so everything one needs. Lots of retirees in this area.

Several birds in the park and we even heard an Owl in the evening. We will definitely come back, quite possibly for a Winter season to see how that goes. Summer can be quite hot.
