This RV park was in a fantastic location. Situated on a hill it is surrounded by the most incredible mountains and rock formations. Below the RV park is a marina situated in a canyon on Lake Powell. At the marina there is a gift store and below that on the dock are hundreds of huge houseboats and smaller boats for rent and owned. There is a floating restaurant as well on the dock that was closed when we were there and another gift store. Each RV site had its own piece of roll on lawn. The only negative was that there was no shade whatsoever so hard to sit outside the RV. However, I managed by moving my chair to the other side of the RV – luckily we did not have any neighbours on that side.
We were next to an open corner of roll on lawn which was designated for pet use.
We took a boat trip to Antelope Canyon from the marina which was wonderful. They do have a golf cart service which takes you down to the dock.
Page is a fantastic location, with fantastic views and lots of attractions to see. We visited the Glen Canyon Dam at sunset and also the Wahweap Marina which both had amazing views.
The most popular things to see is Antelope Canyon. I was able to take a tour to Upper Antelope Canyon and it was great. There are other similar tours to other Canyons as well. Well worth seeing as well as Horseshoe bend.
A fantastic surprise was a Balloon festival which occurred while we were there and we saw many air balloons flying over the ridge first thing in the morning.
We were very sorry to leave Page and this wonderful RV park. Sunsets are out of this world.
Cant wait to come back again.
