Kanab, Utah

This was a great Park to stay in. We arrived a day early and couldn’t get in but were able to find a decent sized dispersed camping area about 5 miles from the park. It provided water and power but no sewer. There was a dump station on site as you drive out.

Site was very large and paved and had a covered picnic area alongside it. It was right at the bottom of a sand dune and we just had to walk up the dune to get to the larger dunes.

The Dunes was a lovely place to camp out. There is a tour company on site that offers rentals on UTV’s and also tours.

Kanab was about 25 minutes from the campsite where you are able to get groceries. The Mocqui museum and caves are about 20 minutes. There is also the Belly of the Dragon which was an interesting attraction to visit.

We would stay there again.
