ICamp Green River

Green River, Utah
21-23 October, 2025

The Campsite was a large sandy area – it was quite empty when we were there. We had a nice shady tree over the picnic bench which was nice. The size and utilities were fine. Campground owners friendly.

We walked from there to the Green River State Park which was across the road. It had a large golf course and the green river running through it, which was quite popular for boating and fishing.

Green River itself was a tiny town with a lot of abandoned buildings. It is known for its Watermelons so we bought a few varieties at one of the local stands. There is a large museum there with a short river walk. We walked there but were unable to see the museum as we had Jax with us.

Our biggest issue with this campsite was dogs barking non stop all night. It was terrible. This was not the fault of the campground owner as there was a wall and fence all around the park but there seemed to be a number of mobile homes on the other side of the wall who had loose dogs.

We stayed 2 nights and I couldn’t wait to move on. Will definitely not stay anywhere near there again.
