Waterdown, Ontario

Olympic Village is right in the middle of the country in amongst some farms and a smattering of houses.  It was packed with RVs and Mobile Homes that were set up as permanent sites.  The campground had only just opened for the season so several of the homes were not occupied – yet.

As far as campgrounds are concerned it suited our needs as we were about 20 mins away from shops and medical clinics. There was no dog park which was a pity as Jax would have loved to have let off some steam. I could however, walk him a little around the campground and also down the road. It had a pool that was closed and a snack shop.

Site was a decent size and grassed. No real issue with anything. Just not too much to do in the area.  I heard there were a few hikes but we didn’t have time anyway to check them out.
