Las Cruces, New Mexico
Dates: 30-31 March 2024
Well maintained. Good size and easy to get into. Utilities worked well.
They have a dog park and a few other amenities behind the office. The park is close to shops.
Its worthwhile taking a drive into the historic town of Mesilla which has a number of nice restaurants. Also to walk along the Dripping Springs trail in the Organ mountains which was stunning. We went to the Taste of India for supper which was absolutely delicious.
They seem to have had problems with theft and there are warnings about leaving items outside your RV unattended. It was not a problem for us as we were only in Las Cruces for a couple of days so we didnt take anything out. There are police cameras up on poles inside the park and there is a metal fence around the property. Apparently they have a security company who drive around at night. We didnt however feel unsafe at any time. We did notice that there were quite a lot of homeless in the area when we went for a walk.
Would come back here again.
