This was a small RV Park at the back of the Best Western Hotel. The sites and utilities were good and we had a fabulous view of a beautiful red mountain range when coming out of the RV. While the Best Western does not have a hotel you have access to the fitness centre. There is also a BBQ restaurant and a Chinese restaurant right next to the hotel.

The Park is situated right on the main road and in easy walking distance to their quirky downtown which has nice coffee shops, restaurants, shops and entertainment centre of theatres. The university is also close by.

We were lucky enough to be there when they were holding the annual heritage livestock festival and saw the incredible sheep run and parade down Main Street which is really worth watching.

We also went for a hike into the nearby Cedar Creek Canyon. It was a lovely paved walk with great mountain scenery. Cedar breaks and Duck Creek – both worth visiting are nearby but we did not manage to fit that in.

The park was great and I really enjoyed the location and would love to return again.
