Whispering Palms RV Resort

Sebastian, Florida

Dates: 12 – 18 February 2024

This was a fairly large park – mostly a permanent mobile home park.  While it was a pull through site, we found it very challenging to get into and out of the site we had as the pad was very narrow and there were poles and trees close by. There was no room to park the car in front of or behind the RV, but they did provide a separate area to park cars across from the site .  Wifi was useless unless you sat in their office.

Even though this was a 50 amp site, we could not run the air con in both the living room and the bedroom without the power going off.  Also we were situated on a busy road and the noise of traffic would start sometimes at 4 am in the morning as well, a train would start its schedule.  It was horrific and we didn’t get a decent night sleep all the time that we were in the park.

There were some facilities including a couple of small pools but no dog park and you were not allowed to walk your dog around the mobile homes.  Luckily the road outside of the resort (on the opposite side) had a concrete path that you could walk on for quite far.

Shops were fairly close and Vero beach which was really lovely was about 20 minutes away.  Also there is the Sebastian State Park which isn’t far away.

We would NOT stay here again.
