Edmunston, New Brunswick to Montmagny, Quebec – 2 October 2023

The drive from New Brunswick to Quebec was full of Fall colours – absolutely stunning.  Loved being back at Montmagny again as it is such a lovely campsite with spectacular views of the St Lawrence.  Of course as before, it was filled with the little swings that we have only seen in Quebec. As soon as we arrived at our campsite, Jax and I were off for a long walk leaving Derek to get everything connected.  It had been a long 4 hour drive and my leg was aching.

There were an assortment of flowering Hydrangeas all over the campsite and along the walk.  Funny to see that, this time of the year. We took a different route to the one around the park which goes to a waterfall, as we had been there last time we stayed here.  This time we headed towards a park I had seen on the drive in. I discovered when we reached it that it had an Accordion Museum.  I couldn’t go inside with Jax so we continued across a bridge to yet another walkway full of flowers leading past a very unusual looking church.

The following day Derek came with us on the same walk but we continued further till we reached a quaint little village where we stopped for a pumpkin spiced Chai at a local Cafe.  After that we continued on through the village until we reached another part of town which was equally lovely.

The weather was surprisingly warm for this time of year and sunsets at the park really amazing.
