We arrived at the KOA in Perrysburg around 7 pm and after unpacking just settled in for the night.

The next day we drove to Paladin Brewery, a Harvest Host.  We were the only RV there and were provided with a nice big space on the grass alongside the brewery. The weather was still pretty nice so after setting up the RV, we took a drive to Lantermans Mill and Covered Bridge, about 15 mins away, so we could go for a walk. The mill was built in 1845-1846. Today it operates as a museum with a gift shop selling an artisans stone-ground cornmeal, buckwheat, and whole wheat flour. The museum was closed but we were able to go for a lovely walk on a well marked trail (a lot of it on wooden walkway) in the Mill Creek Park.

When we got back it was time for supper and luckily the Brewery was now open and we could just walk over.  We got to enjoy a tasty bite to eat and also got to sample a number of their 20 beers brewed on site. I particularly enjoyed the Nice melons watermelon brew and Derek enjoyed the Hopatherapy IPA. To add to the fun it just so happened to be Trivia night. Unfortunately Team Solitude didn’t win the coveted $20.
