Kamloops to Lac La Hache, British Columbia – 9 June 2024
We continued our drive through the beautiful British Columbia to Lac La Hache, with exceptional scenery through valleys of mountains.
We had a few challenging tight turns that day which had me on the edge of my seat as we cleared obstacles with the RV with literally inches to spare. The cherry on the top was when we arrived in Lac La Lache and couldn’t find our campsite. Our GPS led us down a long road behind the campsite with no access to the campsite and only to a dead end. There was no way to turn around so Derek had to reverse back along the road to the freeway entrance, with me on the cell walking behind the RV keeping him straight.
We were relieved when we finally arrived at the campground and were given a lovely site overlooking the Lake. Later we treated to a beautiful pink sunset complete with a drifting lone swan.
