Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Shamrock, Texas – 18 March 2024
We continued westward on the 18 March and stayed overnight at the Lone Mound Ranch, a 460 acre working cattle ranch in the Texas Panhandle who are also a Harvest Host.
We were ushered to an empty field, which had an electrical pole to one side so we could hook up for power. In spite of being surrounded by dry horse and cow manure, it was a little slice of heaven. We sat outside enjoying the quiet, the wide open space and the distant view of the Lone Mound rock. Jax was in his element as he had plenty of space to run free.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
