Red Bluff to Canyonville, Oregon to – 24 April 2024

Stayed overnight in Yreka in the Waiiaka RV Park which we have stayed in previously. Arrived late so after a short walk with Jax settled in for the evening.

Canyonville, Oregon

Stayed for a couple of nights in Stanton Park in Canyonville, Oregon which is about 100 miles north of the California/Oregon border. The area is surrounded by the towering Cascade mountain range which were mostly enveloped by clouds. The main attraction here is the Seven Feathers Casino, but as we are not big gamblers that was a miss.

The campground was situated alongside the Umpqua river which is popular for boating and fishing. We were fortunate to have the park all to ourselves though we were mostly confined to the RV as there has been a fair amount of rain as we continue along the Pacific north west coast.

Jax’s paws were still bothering him. I continue to bathe, spray solution and bandage them up. I have scheduled a vet appointment the moment we get back to Victoria so we can have his paws checked out, have a physical exam and get his vaccinations up to date for our trip to Alaska.
